Tonight will bring a mix of clear spells and further scattered heavy thundery showers with hail and local lightning, especially for west and northwest counties. Cool with lowest temperatures of 4 to 9 degrees, in a mostly moderate west to southwest breeze, fresher near western coasts.

Tomorrow

Tuesday will bring widespread scattered showers from early on in the day. Some of the showers will be heavy and of hail, with the slight chance of lightning. Sunny spells at times too, before cloudier conditions develop over the northern half of the country in the evening. Cool again for early summer with highest temperatures of 12 to 16 degrees, with fresh westerly winds.
