Cloudy and breezy tonight, with outbreaks of rain in the northwest gradually spreading southeastwards, and turning heavy and persistent in parts of the west towards morning. Relatively mild with lowest temperatures of 6 to 10 degrees in fresh southwest winds. Some mist will form overnight also.

Tomorrow

Wet and breezy starting out on Tuesday across many areas with spot flooding possible. While sunny spells will quickly develop across the west and northwest, heavy showers will move in too, bringing embedded hail and lightning. Sunny spells and squally showers will extend to the rest of the country later in the afternoon. Highest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees before turning much colder later. Becoming increasingly windy throughout the day with fresh to strong and gusty southwest winds gradually veering westerly. Some severe gusts are expected in the evening across western coastal areas.
