General Comments:

The risk from pollen will be generally low due to unsettled weather over the next few days. Fungal spores are in peak season with a moderate to high risk.

Tree Comments:

All tree pollen will be low.

Grass Comments:

The main peak period for grass pollen has now passed and the risk is generally low, although there could be a few sneezes from some late season grass pollen types.

Weed Comments:

Weed pollen includes nettle and pellitory-of-the-wall (Parietaria judaica) and a slight risk from ragweed (Ambrosia).

Spore Comments:

Fungal spores: Peak spore season. Alternaria rising to high risk during warm, sunny weather in lowland areas, with a particular risk during cereal harvesting. Penicillium/aspergillus types at an increasing risk. Leptosphaeria and allies will increase for a time after rainfall; Cladosporium and Epicoccum at a moderate to high risk in warm, dry and sunny weather.
