Blustery in parts this evening with some scattered heavy showers.


Further scattered heavy showers for a time early tonight but becoming mostly dry and clear, with just isolated wintry showers in the north. A much colder night than recent times, with clear spells and lowest temperatures of -2 and +2 degrees Celsius with frost and icy stretches. Winds mostly light to moderate north or northwest in direction, but fresh to strong at times along the north and west coast.


A crisp and sunny start to Thursday, but with frost and icy stretches. A cold day, but dry in most areas with a good deal of sunshine and light variable breezes. However, cloud will slowly increase across the western half of the country with some rain arriving into the far southwest towards nightfall. Highest temperature of only 4 to 6 degrees Celsius.
