Largely dry this evening with clear spells and scattered showers, most frequent over Ulster, along with moderate to fresh northwest winds.
Early tonight, showers will become isolated with clear spells for many. Cloud will build from the Atlantic later in the night with patches of light rain and drizzle developing over the western half of the country by morning. Lowest temperatures of 4 to 8 degrees in light to moderate westerly winds.
Becoming dull, damp and breezy tomorrow morning as outbreaks of rain and drizzle spread from the west. During the late afternoon and evening, rain will become confined to Munster and south Leinster with bright spells and isolated showers developing elsewhere. Light to moderate westerly winds will increase moderate to fresh through the morning. Highest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees.

Sunday night: Cloudy in Munster and Connacht with isolated patches of rain and drizzle. Clear spells elsewhere with isolated showers. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees in moderate to fresh westerly winds.
Bank Holiday Monday: A dry start for many with sunny spells. However, patchy rain and drizzle in the west and southwest will spread northeastwards across the country through the morning and afternoon. Highest temperatures of 11 to 15 degrees in moderate westerly winds, freshening on Atlantic coasts through the day.
Monday night: Cloudy with rain and drizzle at first but rain will clear to the southeast overnight, with clear spells and isolated showers following behind. Blustery with moderate to fresh west to southwest winds, strong on northwest coasts. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees
Tuesday: A breezy but bright and mostly dry day with scattered showers and spells of sunshine. Highest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees in moderate to fresh west to southwest winds.
Tuesday night: Showers will turn more frequent on Tuesday night, with a slight chance of hail. Chilly with lowest temperatures of 4 to 8 degrees.
Wednesday: Showers will become more scattered early on Wednesday to leave plenty of dry weather and spells of sunshine. Highest temperatures of 8 to 12 degrees in moderate to fresh westerly winds.
Further outlook: There is uncertainty in the forecast for the end of the working week but current indications suggest that it will turn more unsettled with a spell of wet and blustery weather possible later on Thursday and Friday.
