Staying very windy this evening, as Storm Amy moves northwards. Winds will be strong to near gale force south-westerly, with severe and potentially damaging gusts possible at times. Outbreaks of rain will quickly clear to leave a mostly dry evening with some bright spells.

Windy with scattered showers sweeping in from the west overnight. These may be heavy in places. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 9 degrees in fresh to strong west to southwest winds.
A showery band of rain, heavy in places, will push southwards during the morning. A mixture of sunny spells and scattered showers for the afternoon and evening, though these will gradually ease throughout the day. Highest temperatures of 12 to 14 degrees in strong westerly winds, gradually easing moderate to fresh.
