Very windy for a time with strong or very strong and gusty southerly winds due to Storm Dave. Strong onshore winds will increase the risk of wave overtopping and coastal flooding in low-lying areas. Outbreaks of heavy rain, which will lead to spot flooding, will gradually clear to scattered showers this evening. Winds will veer west to northwest with the clearance and ease somewhat.

Chilly with lowest temperatures of 0 to 3 degrees and patchy frost, mainly in sheltered spots.

Bright and breezy on Easter Sunday with scattered showers and sunny spells. Some may fall as hail with a risk of sleet on higher ground. The showers will become more isolated through the afternoon. Highest temperatures of 7 to 9 degrees in moderate to fresh and gusty west to southwest winds, strong at times near windward coasts, easing towards evening.
