Generally dry under broken cloud cover in the east at first, but showers in Atlantic coastal counties, will becoming more widespread overnight, turning heavy with a risk of hail in parts and merging to longer spells of rain at times. Lows of 1 to 5 degrees, with a risk of frost for a time in parts of the midlands, north and east. Westerly winds will increase by morning.
