Forecast for Inland Lakes issued at 13:30 hours Monday, 30-Mar-2015

Meteorological situation at 0900:A southwesterly airstream is strengthening as a warm front approaches the west coast; the warm front will cross the country this afternoon introducing an even stronger, westerly airflow, then the cold front will clear through tonight leaving an unstable northwesterly airstream.

Forecast For Lough Derg until nightfall today
Wind : Southwest 5 or 6, soon veering southwest to west and increasing 7 to gale 8, occasionally strong gale 9 later.
Weather : Rain.
Visibility : Modrerate to poor.
Winds Overnight : West veering northwest, gale or strong gale.
Outlook for tomorrow : Westerly gales throughout, with stronger gusts in heavy rain or hail showers; risk of thunderstorms also.
