Meteorological situation at 0300:A cold front, extending from Lough Foyle to Bantry Bay, is moving steadily southeastwards while weakening; the flow over Ireland is veering northwesterly and beginning to moderate as pressure rises rapidly from the west.

Wind : Northwest 3 or 4, occasionally 5 at first; gradually backing west to southwest and decreasing 2or 3 later.
Weather : Early outbreaks of rain soon dying out, then fair.
Visibility : Locally moderate at first, otherwise good.
Winds Overnight : Light southwesterly.
Outlook for tomorrow : Southwes to south winds steadily freshening and becoming strong a times by evening; continuing fair.
