Oak Park Automatic Weather Station (AWS) is situated in the grounds of Teagasc, Oakpark , Co Carlow. Exposure is good and the site is representative of the local climate. The station was automated in 2003 and replaced an existing manual station which has a climatological record since 1961. In April 2008, Oak Park AWS replaced Kilkenny as a WMO synoptic station.
